The tightly woven structure patented by this supplier, which has been active in the outdoor sector for more than 40 years, makes Pertex® technology ideal for thermal layers.
 
In addition to ensuring top-quality fabrics, Pertex® is committed to eliminating the use of chemicals that are potentially harmful to health and the environment. Currently, approximately 30% of the fabrics used by our supplier that have received Bluesign® approval for several years contain a PFC-free DWR treatment.

Pertex® has proven to be a responsible brand also in terms of careful resource use. In fact, it has patented Solution Dyed technology, which allows the polymer to be colored before it is spun. This enables water savings of 50%.
 
In 2022, our supplier increased the percentage of fabrics that contain at least 50% recycled material to 80%, including post-consumer nylon waste and chemically recycled polyester from PET plastic bottles. One of these fabrics is Pertex® Shield Revolve™, the new technology that uses only recycled polyester, thus reducing C02 emissions and the use of nonrecyclable virgin materials.
