LA PATNERSHIP
The mountains teach us that some peaks are more difficult to climb than others, but with perseverance and the support of a team, any goal becomes achievable.
It’s a lesson taught daily by the young people who attend the center for social and occupation development operated by the Portaperta Social Cooperative, a local organization just steps from our headquarters that promotes educational and
inclusion programs for people with disabilities.
In the workroom where Aaron, Silvia, Laura, Nicolas, and Laura are sewing, you can feel the same passion and creativity that animate the skilled seamstresses who, every day, apply the expertise and experience of our manufacturing tradition to
technical garments.
In particular, both of our organizations prioritize the principle of reclamation. This value has inspired our approach to developing new ideas, such as the upcycling collection, and at Portaperta it allows individuals with disabilities to unleash their
unique talents in creating useful objects.
A discussion between the two teams gave rise to a “double reclamation” project aimed at social inclusion.
