BIOGRAPHY

Robert Antonioli is a member of the Italian national ski mountaineering team with a large number of victories to his name, from the world championships to the European championships and from the World Cup to Grande Course events. Born in Sondalo on December 23, 1990, he is unpretentious and intensely passionate about all aspects of the mountains, not only ski mountaineering but also fast climbing. Antonioli began ski mountaineering racing at a young age, winning medals and important titles in the Cadet category, and he continued to win when he transitioned to the higher categories, representing the colors of the Italian national team. When he entered the Centro Sportivo Esercito in Courmayeur, his career took off and he began achieving top-level results.

Robert's entry into the Karpos team of ski mountaineering athletes was followed by a long series of victories in the most prestigious international competitions.

He has won so far seventeen medals in the Ski Mountaineering World Championships: seven golds, eight silvers and two bronzes. The three victories obtained in the overall standing of the World Cup (2019, 2020 and 2021), to which are added those in the individual specialties (2018, 2019 and 2020) and sprint (2015, 2016 and 2017), make him the most succesfull athlete in this competition. Robert's rich palmares is completed by the five medals won in the European Championships: three golds, one silver and one bronze.

These medals and titles have already made him a legend of world ski mountaineering.
