Created in 2014, Tout à Bloc is among the most historic and representative bouldering events in Europe. The programme includes a succession of workshops, talks, contests and competitions between natural rock and artificial boulders that make the small town of l'Argentière-la-Bessée (Hautes Alpes) the 'place to be' of the European summer.

The TAB is not just a simple climbing festival that brings together hundreds of climbers in the last week of July, but a real gym (it has to be said) for sport climbers. Here, participants can build connections with other community members, both amateurs and professionals, improving their technical repertoire and receiving advice from pro-climbers. Tout à Bloc is in fact an inclusive event that allows participants to confront 31 boulders, with difficulties (5+ to 8a+) and time available (3-5 hours) to complete them varying according to category. If MICRO TAB is the competition reserved for Under 18s and aims to introduce youngsters to the sport, TAB Loisirs is the challenge reserved for Under 20s, Seniors and Veterans. The highlight is TAB International, a competition recognised by the FFME (Fédération Française de la Montagne et de l'Escalade) and which closes the event programme with the spectacular men's and women's final on Saturday afternoon.
