Filippo Barazzuol, born in 1989, lives and trains in Val Pellice in the province of Turin, an ideal location for ski mountaineering outings. His adventure with the national team began in 2014 when he was called to defend the national colors in World Cup races. From a very young age, Filippo has been attracted to endurance sports, from swimming to skiing, and has also always loved mountain biking. He came to ski mountaineering almost by chance. The first races immediately demonstrated the young champion’s potential, and he soon received the call-up to the national team.
