Looking for pants for hiking in the spring and fall? The medium-weight Vernale Evo Pants are perfect not only in the spring or fall but also at other times when you need some protection but not too much — such as in the winter when the temperature isn’t very cold or during lower-intensity activities. The product takes its name from Sasso Vernale, a mountain in the Marmolada Group in the Dolomites that’s well known for the spectacular panorama that can be enjoyed from its summit. The pants are made with a stretchy and breathable fabric for maximum freedom of movement in all conditions. The fabric’s structure allows for a high level of comfort and protection against the cold, while at the same time ensuring softness and greater durability.

Excellent all rounder for lower intensity activities. Fit is not as “Karpos” as other products.

All round, this trouser is what you’d expect from Karpos. Breathable, lightweight, quick drying and expertly crafted. Having used these trousers on casual hikes, fairly intense scrambles and mountaineering, climbing and short hikes with the family. I can recommend these for anyone. My only small issue, which is likely a personal problem and in hindsight likely due to the “low intensity” style they’re designed for.. I tend to size up when buying Karpos as they usually fit a lot snugger for most products. If you’re the same, consider buying your normal size, as mine are a bit baggier than I’d prefer. Other than that, fantastic trousers.
