Born in 1992, Francesco quickly showed talent in climbing, first on boulders, then on climbing walls and on the crags near his home. Francesco started climbing in his first year of high school, thanks to a club organized by his old school, ITIS G. Segato in Belluno. The group was led by the physical education teacher Bruno Capretta, who inspired in him a great passion for this discipline. Not long after, he began competing and quickly achieved excellent results. 2014 second in the “Rock Master” in Arco. 2015 first final in the Lead World Cup in Stavanger, Norway. 2016 first in Italian Cup and Italian Lead Championship. 2017 sixth at the World Games in Poland. Today he is in 10th place in both the Lead World Cup and world ranking. In July 2017 he joined the Fiamme Oro Alpine Sector of Moena and, together with his partner, Silvia Cassol, he manages the Art Climb gym in Sedico.
