The mountains, and the passion that unites mountain enthusiasts, often become a place of meeting and sharing, and this is how we can sum up the meeting between Karpos and Marco Confortola — a sharing of intentions and common goals, in order to grow together in the openness and concreteness that both parties value.
The strong mountaineer from Valtellina and the company based in Fonzaso have entered into a partnership that will lead them to collaborate on multiple fronts over the coming years, from product research, to communications, to the creation of events and educational activities.
“For Karpos, Marco will become a key partner in opening new high-altitude horizons for our collections, thus helping complete our range of products,” said Gioia Cremonese, director and brand manager of Karpos. “We hope the collaboration will be a path that leads to growth for both parties, as has always been the case in the past with all the athletes and mountaineers we have met thus far on our journey.”
With Karpos, Manifattura Valcismon, located at the feet of the Dolomites, in Fonzaso in northern Italy, draws on its 70 years of experience with manufacturing, research and technical clothing, derived both from cycling, with Sportful and Castelli, and from cross-country skiing, again with Sportful. This wealth of experience and knowledge is applied daily in the creation of technical garments that help athletes achieve top-level performance in every discipline. All this, brought into the outdoor sector, has become KARPOS, a brand that in just a few years has carved out a space and a well-defined identity in the outdoor world.
